Brittany Chandler

Marlin Angell

Mr. Marlin Angell, the Chief Executive Officer of Mid-South HealthNet and MSHN Enterprises, LLC  has over 40 years of experience in health care administration and leadership as a federal manager and in his own enterprises over the past 16 years.  He has served as CEO of Mid-South HealthNet  since 2001 and also serves as the CEO of the expanded housing organization, MSHN Enterprises LLC.   He received a number of awards and recognition during his career in public service and is proud of his second career in serving populations with disabilities.
Brittany Chandler, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer, has 13 years of financial management and leadership experience in the healthcare industry.  She received her BA from University of Memphis in 2006 and her MBA from Union University in 2010. She lives with her husband of six years and three dogs, Savannah, Arlo, and Carolina. In her free time, Brittany enjoys spending time at the lake and time with her family.

Josh Carmack

Mr. Josh Carmack, the Chief Nursing Officer has worked for over 14 years in healthcare and held numerous positions including ICU/CVICU head nurse, Regulatory Readiness, and Administrative Supervisor for one of the largest hospital systems in the Memphis metropolitan area.  Mr. Carmack has also led the field of vascular access in the Memphis area by pioneering new insertion techniques, training,  and oversite to achieve the best outcomes of any vascular access team in the Mid-South.
Leah Lancaster is the DCOO for five of the original Mid-South HealthNet homes and two houses in Bolivar TN. Leah oversees and offers support to the Executive Directors at those homes.  Leah has a passion for this industry.  To her it’s more than just a job. “I started this journey of wanting to help others back in 2005 when I enrolled to Bethel University to obtain my Human Services degree and couldn’t be happier that I made that decision. I look forward to this new journey with MSHN Enterprises in continuing to serve others.”

Shunta Williams

Michelle Black

Michelle Black is the DCOO and the Chief Nursing Officer for the 6 McKenzie, TN homes as well as Brady and Jolie.  Michelle has been a Registered Nurse for 8 years.  She is a board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health RN which makes her perfect for this industry.  She is certified in dementia and crisis prevention.  Michelle and her husband, Brian, have 4 beautiful children, Addy, Avery, Aybel and Aayden. They love just spending time together as a family. 

  
Shunta Williams has been in the mental health field for 8 plus years and enjoys every minute of it. I have gained my knowledge in this field with the opportunity working hand-on with the staff and residents. I am currently managing 3 homes in the Memphis area; Herschel with 14 residents, Walker with 14 residents, and West with 21 residents along with over 24 employees. I have passion for helping others and giving them to chance to live independently in the community or with their families. I live by the scripture “ Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."

Susan Winston

Leatha Shuster

  Susan  has been an LPN for 8 years. She states that she has “always had a passion for taking care of people, young and old. I strive to make each person I care for,  feel safe and I believe in second chances. Everyone has been through obstacles in their life and deserve to better themselves.” She began working in the mental health field as the Executive Director and LPN in what is now known as the Twain House in Martin in 2013. She say that she has “enjoyed helping and guiding others as well as caring for their medical needs for the last 5 years.” Susan and her husband, Steven, have been married for 26 years and they have three children, Amy, Ryan and Maggie.  They enjoy being outdoors, traveling and spending time with each other at the lake.  

Leatha has many years of experience in both management and human resources.  Most recently she worked as a Regional Director for Operations within East Tennessee, providing support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.  Prior to that role, she served as the Regional Human Resource Manager within the same geographic area and population.  She has also provided HR support within the health field sector, retail and corporate environments.
Leatha and her husband, Danny, and their son, Cameron, live in a rural area of East Tennessee and enjoy going to the lake on the weekends and spending quality time together.  They also enjoy spending time with their 2 older daughters, Alicia and Lauren, and their spouses, Eric and Mark, along with their 5 active grandchildren.
